It’s still summer, right? Well, technically, it is at least for another 17 days. But Labor Day has come and gone, and so has the “real” summer, just like that, in the blink of an eye like it always does, and the next school/programmatic year begins. While things do get quieter here in the summer, we remain very busy preparing for the coming year, and thankfully, the High Holy Days are later this year, giving the staff a little extra breathing room to prepare. The High Holy Days will soon be upon us and will include options for you and your family to participate in our in-person and virtual services and experiences. Family services will be held in the tent, and extra security personnel will be present to ensure a safe environment for indoor and outdoor services. Our investment in technology will ensure that we stay connected with those who choose to participate in services via livestream. An email with information about accessing the livestream will be sent as we get closer to the High Holy Days. Please remember to submit your membership renewal forms and seating/livestream requests ASAP if you have not done so already. The High Holy Day packets, which will include tickets, parking passes, service times, and more, are slated for distribution in the TBS office during normal business hours from Thursday, September 19 to Sunday, September 22, and mailing the week of September 23. Please help us save money on postage by picking up your High Holy Day packets when they are made available.
